Planning Your Child’s Education

Children dream freely.
Parents… worry silently.
One of the most common conversations I have is this:
“We want the best for our child… but we’re not sure how to plan for it financially.”
And the concern is valid.
Because education costs are not just rising—
they’re rising faster than most people expect.
What costs ₹10–15 lakhs today
could easily double in the coming years.
Yet, many parents delay planning.
Why?
▪︎ “There’s still time”
▪︎ “We’ll figure it out later”
But later usually comes with pressure.
The biggest advantage you have is not money.
It’s time.
When you start early:
☆ The monthly investment is smaller
☆ Your money gets more time to grow
☆ The pressure reduces significantly later
Even a simple SIP, started early, can build a meaningful education fund.
But when you delay…
You’re forced to invest larger amounts
or depend on loans and compromises.
I always tell parents this:
Education planning is not about investing more.
It’s about starting earlier.
Because when the time comes,
you shouldn’t be worried about money.
You should be proud of the preparation.
Start small. Stay consistent.
Give your child’s future the financial backing it deserves.
