Investment & Mutual Funds Policy

1. Introduction

Sach Mitra Finserv is committed to conducting mutual fund distribution and advisory services in accordance with the guidelines and best practices prescribed by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

 

This policy outlines the rules, responsibilities, disclosures, and investor protection measures applicable to mutual fund investments facilitated through our services.

 

2. AMFI Compliance & Code of Conduct

Sach Mitra Finserv adheres to the AMFI Code of Conduct for Mutual Fund Distributors, which ensures:

• Ethical business practices

• Transparency in communication

• Fair treatment of investors

• Proper disclosure of commissions (where applicable)

• Suitability assessment before recommending schemes

 

All mutual fund recommendations are made based on investor profile, risk appetite, financial goals, and investment horizon.

 

3. Investor Suitability & Risk Profiling

Before recommending any mutual fund scheme:

• A risk profiling questionnaire may be conducted.

• Investment objectives and financial goals are assessed.

• Risk tolerance (conservative, moderate, aggressive) is evaluated.

• Investment horizon is considered.

Investors are advised to provide accurate and complete information to ensure appropriate scheme selection.

 

4. Risk Disclosure

Investors must understand that:

• Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks.

• Returns are not guaranteed.

• NAV (Net Asset Value) fluctuates based on market conditions.

• Past performance does not guarantee future returns.

• Equity funds are subject to higher volatility compared to debt funds.

 

Investors are advised to carefully read the Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) before investing.

 

5. No Guaranteed Returns Policy

Sach Mitra Finserv does not guarantee:

• Fixed returns

• Capital protection (unless specified in scheme structure)

• Specific growth percentages

 

All investment decisions are subject to market performance and fund management strategies.

 

6. Commission & Compensation Disclosure

As a mutual fund distributor (if applicable):

• Compensation may be received from Asset Management Companies (AMCs) as per AMFI guidelines.

• No additional hidden charges are collected from investors beyond disclosed costs.

• Expense ratios and exit loads are governed by the respective mutual fund scheme.

 

Investors are encouraged to ask for full disclosure of commission structure if required.

 

7. Investor Responsibilities

Investors agree to:

• Provide valid KYC documents.

• Update changes in address, bank details, nominee details.

• Review account statements regularly.

• Inform immediately in case of discrepancies.

• Understand risks before investing.

 

8. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & KYC Compliance

All investments are subject to:

• KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance

• PAN verification

• Bank account verification

• AML regulations as per AMFI framework

 

Failure to comply may result in transaction rejection.

• Be shared only with AMCs, RTAs (Registrar & Transfer Agents) & regulatory authorities when required.

 

All handling of data follows ethical and privacy standards.

 

11. Online Transactions & Digital Consent

For online investments:

• OTP-based or digital consent is required.

• Investors are responsible for safeguarding login credentials.

• Sach Mitra Finserv is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access due to negligence.

 

12. Policy Amendments

Sach Mitra Finserv reserves the right to modify this policy in line with changes in AMFI guidelines or applicable laws.
